Venofer is commonly used to treat iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia, helping improve energy levels, reduce fatigue, and enhance oxygen delivery throughout the body. Ideal for those who don’t tolerate or absorb oral iron well and need more efficient repletion.  200 mg per session, diluted in normal saline and infused over 60 minutes, depending on dose and tolerance. Treatment is usually given in a series totaling ~1,000 mg, spaced over multiple visits.
